We spent a marvelous holiday at Rogner Bad Blumau. I asked for an extra bed for my 4 years old son. Not only I was not charged for it, we also had a room much bigger than expected (and that we used to have in our previous stay). With two kids in the room that was amazing! Kids had place to move around even when we were in the room. The staff was always nice and accomodating. This is very mucg appreciated always, but with a 1-year-old that is in the phase of throwing food on the floor, it is appreciated even more! The spa is nice. There are a lot of different options. The food is excellent. The staff is great! There are big bowls with apples at the receptions, and the guests can take an apple from there. I found this small detail very generous and touching. Thanks a lot for our amazing stay. Everyone from our family was happy: kids, us, grandfathers and grandmothers.

Great location. Amazing breakfast and food in general. Every single member of the staff delivers perfect service. This is challenging and a great achievement. Respect. The room was nice and most importantly quiet. The view to the Loser is wonderful. I’m not the Spa type so I didn’t use it a lot but it’s nice, it was not overcrowded and the teabar plus nuts and dry fruit is welcomed. I would have appreciated a higher water temperature in the pools but that’s minor. It was warm enough to feel good inside. The golf course is around the corner and next to the hotel. I’m not an expert but the course looked rather mediocre to me and just as much maintained as necessary. But that’s not part of the hotel and not their responsibility. I will definitely come back again.

The hotel is well designed the stuff were the best we've encountered in all of Austria, very professional with a vast knowledge of wines especially Stefani! An impressive young woman who run the hotel better then many others twice her age who has a lot to learn from her. The food was lovely, breakfast and dinner included! Plenty of diversity in the breakfast buffet. They were very patient with our requests and equestrians about the area and about their wines. The Finnish sauna and the swimming pool were a great addition to an already wonderful stay!

We loved at stay at this hotel. Nothing is spared. They even offer fruit and drinks by the swimming pool for free and the cake time at lunch was a delicious surprise. We've had a wonderful short stay there with our two small children and we are looking forward to our next visit. The hosts are wonderful and their effort is reflected in the high quality of the accomodation.

Visited just two of the many museums available in Graz.

Visited just two of the many museums available in Graz. The Schell Lock & Key Museum and the Armoury. Both were packed full of content. The Schell Museum unbelievably so. There was also a light and sound festival, Klanglicht during our stay, with various installations setup across the centre for evening wander. If you like walking around cities there is plenty to see and do here.

We didn't eat out much as accomodation had a very well equipped kitchen. Public transport was punctual and free with a Sommer Card provided by our hosts. All lift passes that we used were free also. The only cost was a booking fee for getting up to the Schladming Galcier. (PREPARE TO QUE FOR THIS ONE). Be aware that shops are closed for religious holidays etc.

Leoben is a small, pretty town.

Leoben is a small, pretty town. My hotel Gastof Zum Grief had a superb location, literally 2 minutes from the main square and right by the river. It’s easy to walk around Leoben which has many bars and restaurants in and off the main square. Lovely country walks by the river and also a shopping centre in the main square. I ate in San Marco, Trattoria Roma, Zum Greif, Stadt Meierei, and Schwarzer Adler - all very good.

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

We spent a whole weekend in Graz and absolutely loved it! The city offers a beautiful mix of history and vibrant student life, which gives it a unique and lively atmosphere. There are plenty of great restaurants and bakeries to explore, and we especially enjoyed visiting the local museum. One of the highlights of our trip was Eggenberg Palace – it’s truly stunning and definitely worth planning a full day for. We also discovered a lovely coffee pavilion serving excellent local coffee — a perfect spot to relax and soak in the atmosphere. One tip: make restaurant reservations in advance. It can be quite difficult to get a table without one, especially on weekends. All in all, Graz is a delightful city with a lot to offer — from culture and history to great food and coffee. Highly recommended for a weekend escape!

Schladming is not interesting place, but the surroundings - yes. You can find a lot of attractions like ferrara, wander wegs, cycle routes, even rafting and places obligatory to visit: Dachstein Glacier, Planai, Reiter Alm (all supported by lifts). There are some places from the category "must see" like Riesach waterfall or Silberkar Gorge.

Leoben is more a town than a city, even if it is the second city of Steiermark; one day is more than enough to visit the city itself, but in the neighborhood there are some places that worth a visit: Asia Spa, 5 minutes walking from the city center, the Ice Arena, Präbichl for downhill skiing, Abenteuer Erzberg to visit the mine, Redbull Ring for MotoGP and F1 fans, Voest Alpine Leoben/Donawitz has free tour for tourists. Leoben also has a small disco right in the main square and in that area there are also good places to have a meat(Arkandenhof is my suggetsed one)
