Bonus points for the wonderful breakfast, served in one of FOUR beautiful on-site restaurants, and the impressively high-tech gym. Walking out of the hotel feels simply like an extension of the experience - beautiful streets with boutique shops and cosy restaurants. We especially loved the record player and curated album selection - a charming retro touch that made the room feel even more special. Also a great spot for digital nomads: the lobby feels like a trendy open-space co-working hub. Most people hanging out there aren’t even hotel guests! And when locals choose to spend time at your hotel, you know you’re doing something right. ProTip: like in many hotels, the laundry service isn't very "cost effective". But no worries! There are laundromats nearby, simply grab one of the (free!) guest bikes and do a quick trip. Laundromats in Japan are an attraction by their own.

Well set in the Nakagyo Ward district of Kyoto, hotel anddoggy Kyoto Nijo is located 1.1 km from Kyoto International Manga Museum, 1.9 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall and 2.6 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi. The property is 600 metres from the city centre and 1 km from Nijo Castle. Everything was great! Great value for money! Rooms are really spacious and super clean. Service is irreproachable and there are a lot of free services (coffee, juices, food etc.). We did not have a dog and were still super well welcomed. We actually extended our stay there because it was super comfortable.

There is a public bathhouse located a 10-minute walk away. Nijo Castle is 2.4 km from Gallery Nozawa Inn, while Kyoto International Manga Museum is 2.4 km from the property. Osaka Itami Airport is 36 km away. It's an amazing place with such a wonderful hosts and the breakfast was the best thing in Kyoto, I really liked it

Open from 2016, Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto features a Western-style restaurant and a tea house by a pond in Shakusuien Japanese garden as well as a lounge. Kyoto Station is a 7-minute drive away. Free WiFi is provided throughout the hotel. Has a wonderful garden… obviously hotel is great.

A 10-minute walk from the JR Kyoto Train Station, Takigawa Ryokan features comfortable Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. A public bath is available, and massages can be requested for relaxation. Guests can borrow Kimono robes for free, but will be charged for dry cleaning costs. This Ryokan was excellent in many ways. First, although the place is within walking distance from Kyoto station, you can also take the subway right next to the location (in case you have large suitcases). Second, it is pet friendly! They accepted my and my small Chihuahua, and they also respected my wishes to put off cleaning in order to allow my dog to roam freely in the room. Third, the staff are so friendly and accommodating! My partner couldn't sleep because of some noise in the next room and so the staff happily moved him to a quieter room IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT! They were wonderfully accommodating! 本当にありがとうございました。

The guest house is located in a geothermal area, with a number of hot springs nearby for guests to relax in. The host was so kind, a family owned business! It was really comfortable and it felt like I was staying at home. Watched TV in the living room, rented their bike, and everything was really clean. They also offer pick -up from Miyazu Station which was very convenient. I would stay here again.
