There’s no AC, but the cool nights made it perfectly comfortable. The Wi-Fi runs on Starlink, so the connection was strong. And the food… absolutely amazing - probably the best we had in all of Sumba! Don’t miss their famous lobster soup!

The view of the mountains is just… wow! I stayed for two nights, but I easily could’ve stayed longer. Breakfast was also delicious, with fresh fruit from the garden! The fact that there’s no air conditioning might take some getting used to, but I slept really well — the breeze flows nicely through the room thanks to the way it’s built. I’m very curious to see how things will look in a few years with all the plans Hars still has. It’s hard to imagine this place becoming anything but a hidden gem!

Facing the seafront, Oro Beach Houses is a bed and breakfast offering a 3-star accommodation in Weetebula. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast has family rooms. It is een quiet piece of paradise. A bit secluded so if you want to see the surroundings you will need to rent a motorbike. The coast road to Waikuri beach is scenic and we saw just a few other cars/motors. Don't forget tot stop sometimes and look voor deserted beaches and kliffs. . The food and juices are delicious The beach is deserted and you can snorkel right from it at high tide.

A scooter was made available so we could explore the surroundings freely. A true gem! A pure moment of tranquility and peace.

Nayla and the other girls working are lovely. Nayla helped us so much, gave us lots of useful information to move around Sumba. We were gonna stay for one night and we ended yo staying 4. Also food is very good, definitely recommend it!
