A Soulful Stay at Cabañas Iracas Del Mar Tucked along the serene shores of Nuquí, Cabañas Iracas del Mar offered us a retreat that felt both restful and idyllic. From the moment we arrived, Daisy, the heart and soul of this place and the rest of the staff welcomed us with a warmth that went far beyond hospitality. Their care and attention to detail made us feel not just accommodated, but genuinely looked after. At times, we’d find ourselves chatting with the other family members and staff, sharing stories, or picking fresh fruit right from the trees in the garden. Each of us had our own cabin, and they were just what we needed spacious , comfortable, and open to the lush surroundings. The sounds of the ocean and the songs of the birds drifted in naturally. We especially loved reading in the hammocks just outside the cabins on the balconies, swaying gently in the afternoon breeze. The location is also perfect, just a stone’s throw from the beach, and close enough to town that we could walk in for lunch or dinner, but far enough that it still felt like a world of its own. Like being in a town away from the town. Our stay at Cabañas Iracas del Mar was more than just a holiday it felt like a journey into the heart of Nuquí’s natural beauty and the deep, quiet generosity of its people. If you’re looking for a place that offers both solitude and connection, peaceful rest and enriching excursions, this is a destination that truly has it all.

Situé à Nuquí, l’établissement Popochos Beach Eco Lodge comprend un jardin et une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite. Very friendly staff, accommodating, clean facilities. The manager Hugo was so kind and even helped me arrange tours for my stay. And the food was incredible!

Offrant une vue sur le jardin, l’établissement El Retoño del Negro Gozón se situe à Nuquí. Il propose un restaurant, une cuisine commune, un bar, un jardin et une terrasse. Utterly utterly basic. Barefoot luxury without the luxury. The wooden planks which make the walls of the huts have spaces between them for ventilation. Nothing in the room except a bed (and mosquito net), a shelf and a table. Hammocks on the verandah and the sea is right there - wonderful. You get there by small boat (with outboard motor) from Nuqui - the tourist jetty is a short walk from the airport and the people where you pay your airport tax made sure we were passed into the care of someone who saw us onto the right boat. It took 50 minutes. Wear shorts - there is no jetty and you disembark by stepping off into the water. The kitchen/dining area has a low concrete wall around it and a tin roof. The food is simple but we thought it was delicious (lots of fish - ceviche, stew and grilled). The staff are lovely - friendly and helpful, and take care to speak simple Spanish to help us understand. We enjoyed whale watching from a small boat. All very simple and undeveloped. A perfect place for blissful downtime and going to sleep to the sound of the waves. Utterly utterly wonderful!

We did a tour to Utria National park. My expectation was entering the jungle with a nature guide to look for local animals. Instead we went on a beach tour. So be sure you explaine correctly what you expect to get the right tour. The other morning we went alone on a little path behind the hotel and managed to see a group of monkeys. So there are wild animals around. For the locals they are just so normal, they don't mention them. Among the local birds are also eagles. Same thing, locals won't mention them as special, as the are regularly seen.

L’établissement Cabañas Luna Escondida se situe à Capurganá, à 500 mètres de ce lieu d’intérêt : Plage de Capurganá. Isabel à l'accueil est géniale. Très attentionnée, elle m'a aidée pour tout ce dont j'avais besoin et m'a expliqué plein de choses sur village. Les petites déjeuners étaient délicieux. Le lieu est calme et agréable avec la piscine et le jardin.

Situé à El Valle, l’établissement The Humpback Turtle possède un jardin, une plage privée, un salon commun et une terrasse. The Humpback Turtle est un endroit incroyable et unique. Son emplacement au bord de la plage sous les palmiers nous inspire des histoires de Robinson Crusoé :) Les lieux sont très bien entretenus par une équipe aux petits soins. Les activités proposées sont super également. Et contre tout attente, il n'y a même pas tant de petites bêtes ! (Pensée à l'adorable gecko qui a partagé toutes mes douches <3) Si on omet l'humidité omniprésente à laquelle il faut s'habituer, cet endroit est un petit paradis.

Situé à Quibdó, l’établissement Mia Hotel Choco comprend un restaurant et un bar. Un parking privé est disponible moyennant des frais supplémentaires. Great hotel. Clean and comfortable- very helpful staff.

Situé à Arusí, l’établissement Posada Nore, Nuquí comprend un jardin, une plage privée et une terrasse. Certains hébergements sont pourvus d’un balcon offrant une vue sur la mer. Our stay at Posada Noře was unmatched. The generous hospitality of Profe Hernando and Doña Nore was incredible. We spent many hours with our hosts being shown around, cooked for, and transported to different places on their boat. It felt like a very authentic and local experience and we were able to learn a lot about the people, history and culture of Arusí. The posada was beautifully set up and very comfortable. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.
