We enjoyed our stay - this is a separate house, but the owner lives next door and is always available. The place has all kinds of amenities, we especially appreciated laundry machine and dryer - it was very useful after messy hikes around. Owner was very nice, gave us local fruits and cake - was very tasty. House is not modern but looks right as on the pictures - considering the price it seemed as a good deal.

Amazing house, has so many rooms, as well as outside tanning areas, barbecue grill and a vegetable garden. Extremely spacious, I highly regret not staying there longer.

Our staying in Pestana was lovely. The garden and the whole complex is outstanding. The amount of plants and views wherever you looked were absolutely beautiful. The bungalow was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was quiet and private. You can use the common swimming pool (there are two of them) - both nicely maintained. The staff was very helpful and nice. Breakfasts are good - many options to choose. Nearby is the local shop and view point - 5mins away by foot. I strongly reccomed staying here if you look for a quiet, slow place with nature around :)

The hotel manager personally reached out to check on our arrival time, ask if we needed help planning activities, and ensure everything was perfect for our stay. That level of thoughtfulness already set the tone. Then, our flight got canceled, and we arrived much later than expected—past midnight. But despite the late hour, the staff welcomed us warmly, gave us a quick and seamless check-in, and personally escorted us to our room. And that’s when the magic truly began. Luxury Beyond Expectations Waiting for us in our room was a bottle of champagne and a handwritten personal note—a gesture that already made us feel incredibly special. Words simply cannot convey how wonderful our experience was. The resort is stunning, the service is superior, the food is extraordinary, and there are so many thoughtful and meaningful touches that make this truly an experience instead of just a vacation. We received champagne, scrumptious desserts. The hotel staff quickly memorized our names and always greeted us warmly. Thanks to Luis(team), Sergio, Vanessa and Diana.
