This is a luxury hotel at an affordable price. The decor and fixtures and fittings are stylish and modern. The shower was the best! All staff were all so friendly and helpful. We were looked after so well. Milan at the front desk made sure our holiday went smoothly and was very attentive to all our needs. The breakfast was delicious with excellent coffees. We also ate dinner and lunch here and all the food we ate was delicious and reasonably priced too. We did 3 excellent trips with Raj our very knowledgeable safari guide - a walking safari, a canoe trip and a jeep safari. Due to Raj’s knowledge and patience we got to see a wild rhino up close! All the staff made us feel like family and nothing was too much trouble. We were sad to leave. Milan arranged private transport for us to Bhaktapur and it’s a long drive but the driver was very professional and safe. Highly recommend everything about this hotel! It was even an easy 10 min walk to Main St and the sunset viewing platform in town.

It's on an undisturbed area perched slightly above the river. Great for nature lovers and only a 5-10 minute walk to the town. When we arrived at Bamby there was a rhino grazing directly across us on the river bank

Tara guest house is situated close to the town center but also far enough to enjoy quite, calm enviroment. It is close to the river where we could already find wild life (crocodiles and others) but it is safe. Guest house has nice terrase, from where we could observe working elephants walking the street. The staff is extremly nice, very helpful and with them we also had done the jungle walk, which was extraordinary experience. Definately take those 2 if you plan jungle walk.

Staff are very nice and helpful! They gave me tips and knowledge about Sauraha and wild animals. I had great times at the hotel and I’d love to stay at this hotel when I visit there again!

beautiful location close to the Jungle. the staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend going there. we enjoyed our stay, the jungle safari and the food. we would definitely come again. maybe you could skip the canoeing if you did the safari before. but loved the safari saw rhinos, beers, deers, monkeys, elephant, peacocks, crocodile and so much more :)

Stayed few days here, wildlife adventure activities was wonderfully great, guide was super with very good price, Breakfast and Nepali good was exceptionally good. Beautifully green garden with fruits, trees, flowers very peaceful area, walkable distance to major planes of Sauraha , over all fantastic place to be. The owner and staff were exceptional. I was picked up at the bus. The location a short walk to the river and scenic spot. Tours were arranged especially the travel by local bus to Lumbini. Room clean with a balcony view of trees with a resident monkey. I ate the local high caste meal
