I would recommend this place to everyone! The host was so incredibly hospitable and sweet. She helped us with the elephant trip, cooked us an amazing dinner and breakfast and was just all around incredibly accommodating. She even let us stay a little while longer to freshen up and prepare for the next leg of our journey, after we came back from half a day in Anudharapura. You really see that she loves hosting and it shows in everything she does for her guests.

Our family spent 5 nights here, we had a wanderful stay! Accomodation is in beautiful location, right next to the rice fields with view at the Lions rock. The sound of the nature in the evening was incredible. Manager Sujee make us feel very welcomed, preparred for us tasty meals for a very good price. Also they pack for us breakfast when we left early for the Lions Rock. They have a super nice jeep driver that took us aroud the Sigiriya, show us iteresting places and arrange very tasty village lunch. The room had comfortable beds, hot shower. The pool is just perfect. Thank you for making our holiday unforgetable!!

Everything was great. The host is friendly and very helpful! The place is clean and the location is excellent, middle of the jungle, 5 minutes walk from lions rock. We arrived in the middle of the night and the property owner was so helpful and nice and waited for us. They made us Sri Lanka breakfast and coffee in the morning :) The rooms are simple and clean, the AC works, the pool is clean. You can hear many birds in the morning and it’s a full jungle experience. We had a late flight and the check out was late which was also no problem!

Hospitality of the owner. They would andwer all of our requests immediately. It is a great family with a cute dog. The surrounding is also magical, you can feel you live among different kinds od animals.

The staff were awesome. Very hospitable and the food was outstanding. Ayurvedic (Sri Lankan medicine) massage therapy provided by their sister organization (next door) to me and my husband was also very good (Gabaa arranged this). Gabaa is a very customer focused resort. Will visit with the whole family next time.

- bed is really comfy and accommodation super clean - hot shower !!! - warm welcome from the family - Sheeva helps to organise all the activities as the place is strategically based in the center of the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka : safari for elephants, sunset and sunrise at lion rocks and Pidurangala rock but also reply to a lot of requests that is really nice (example: he told me how to get to his place by local bus so I could avoid paying a lot in taxi as a solo young traveller it’s really nice) - quite area - interesting discussion with the owner to learn about Sri Lanka story - food available (but I would recommend to check price in advance just to know what you are going to pay) - host organised for me an Ayurvedic treatment that was so good - good quality for the services provided compared to the price paid

It is one of the best places I have stayed in all of Sri Lanka. You are in the middle of nature and once you come back from climbing the rock it is a haven of peace. The rooms are very rustic but charming. They have built them themselves. And now the most important part, the family. I have no words to describe their kindness and hospitality. The man always worried that I would not lack anything. He took me with his motorbike to a medicinal plant garden and also to Pidurangaya and the famous Sigiriya rock. A great person with a big heart. And let's talk about the meals, dinner and breakfast of great quality and quantity. They know how to pamper their customers with details, like a fruit juice. They will never say no. They also wash your clothes. In summary: highly recommended for the human warmth that you breathe and the good treatment you receive. The best place in Sigiriya and almost all of Sri Lanka.

Absolutely amazing hotel, very clean and spacious rooms, perfect location (5 mins from ticket office, 15 from polonnaruwa sacred city entrance), friendly stuff and hotel owner.
