I recently had the most unforgettable experience at Belihuloya Adventure Camp! Tucked away in the lush highlands of Sri Lanka, this camp is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. The location is simply breathtaking, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and pristine forests. The cool climate adds to the charm, making it a perfect escape from the heat. The activities offered are top-notch, from adrenaline-pumping canoeing, and trekking, to the more relaxed nature trails. The highlight for me was the canoeing. Activity expert Hemantha is highly experienced and ensured safety at every turn, which made the adventure all the more enjoyable. Accommodation at the campsite was comfortable, offering a true "back-to-nature" experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their passion for the outdoors and commitment to providing a memorable experience really stood out. The food was another highlight – delicious and hearty, perfect after a long day of activities. We were treated to local cuisine with fresh ingredients that really hit the spot. Whether you're looking for an action-packed adventure or a peaceful retreat in nature, Belihuloya Adventure Camp has it all. I recommend this place for any nature lover! I'll definitely be back for more adventures soon.

Beautiful and peaceful location with a river in the Back yard. Surrounded by greenery and forest. Lasantha and staff are warm and friendly and went above and beyond. I was leaving early morning to Horton Plains for a hike and they had a packed lunch ready for me at 4 am! The food was traditional and tasty. There are 3 cottages for accommodation with good wifi, comfortable bed and hot water.

Situated in Maskeliya, 13 km from Adam's Peak, Daresh home stay features accommodation with a hot tub. This chalet provides a garden.

At the time of booking, there was only one review of this homestay. So we took a leap of faith - that's how we roll... Wow! Were we rewarded! This is by far the best homestay, and Deva is a superhost! He goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we could possibly want and need, while his lovely wife Mangu conjures up meals fit for the gods! The room is spacious, clean and comfortable (mosquito-net included). A large bay-window overlooks the tea plantations. At night, the subtle ramblings of an enthusiastic river will guide you into a deep coma, as it did for us. The quaint town is within walking distance and packed with friendly Tamil shopkeepers. We absolutely loved our stay! Everyone should experience their hospitality and homestay for sure. It has been the highlight of our journey so far. Thanks to Deva and his wife Mangu. :-)

Am told that the owner, while operating an agricultural business, loves nature and leaves the majority of the extensive land to nature. The rock pools in the river are perfect for swimming and the waterfall on the property is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in Sri Lanka.

We stayed here for one night we enjoyed it so much we extended for another night. The host is a very sweet & warm person. He is an interesting man and keeps his home and the guest apartments very clean so much so I was impressed at how neat and well thought out the spaces were. They smelled very fresh as did the bed linens and towels 🙂 We stayed in the budget room equipped with two huge beds, fluffy pillows a fan, great shower with hot water & huge kitchen with a fridge. This was so needed and appreciated after spending the whole day exploring waterfalls and trekking through the stunning scenery that surrounds this homestay. The host has a beautiful garden with tropical flowers and spaces for guests to sit and enjoy the garden also you can enjoy the many authentic & delicious breakfast, lunches & dinners the host will provide at a very reasonable cost. He truly takes the hassle out of everything for you and will go miles out of his way for you. We felt very safe and extremely cared for here. There are gates with locks on for your scooter and your own private access to the building. This homestay is in one of the most beautiful and historical regions in Sri Lanka. The cottage is beautiful. Really well made with a lovely big comfy bed, kitchen, kettle, cooking hob and nestled into nature. Stunning views of the country, the mountains, and front row to the sunrise. We sat on the balcony and watched the clouds sweep through the mountains and valley. Then, when the sun set, the fireflies floated between us and out to the night.
