Even though this was one of our shortest trips ,it was made one of our best ones mostly because of the great accommodation and how helpful Carlotta (our host) was! The property is located at the top of Taormina as you can see on the map and everything is accurately displayed on the photos. You get lots of space and a stunning view from the apartment. Going to the city center is a 15,20 mins walk down some panoramic stairs from which you see the sea and it's also great. Have in mind that if you're not a fan of climbing them back, the taxis cost 15-20 eur from the town to the apartment and they don't accept cards - cash only. The apartment was clean, had all the necessary things and Carlotta even went the extra mile and saved us when we had some train emergencies on our way from Catania airport by finding a friend of hers to come and pick us up with a car from the middle of nowhere. :D Also, she had some great recommendations on where to eat and experience the local culutire/cuisine.

La Terrazza sul Mare was the best place we stayed in Sicily. The location is perfect, just a 15-minute easy walk to the center, which is charming and vibrant. The view from the terrace is breathtaking, and the host, Charles, along with his team, was amazing—always available and ready to assist with anything we needed. The rooms are colorful, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean. We fell in love with the place the moment we arrived. There’s also a shared kitchen, which we found very convenient. One of the highlights was the parking spot, a huge plus since parking in Taormina can be quite challenging. We will definitely stay here again whenever we return to Sicily!
