We were impressed by how well the property has been maintained, preserving its historic charm and character. It’s a truly beautiful place that effortlessly brings history to life, offering a glimpse into the elegance of the past. The apartment was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. It was incredibly comfortable, with an excellent layout with plenty of space for our extended family of six to relax and enjoy. The covered alfresco was a lovely addition, perfect for reading a book or simply just having a cup of coffee to admire the amazing view. The apartment provided everything we needed for a truly memorable stay (7 days). Michael, our host, was incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. One evening, we shared a delightful nightcap (red wine ☺️) in their cozy café, enjoying lighthearted chit-chat with him and his lovely mom. He even invited all of us to join his family for our very first hockey match to cheer on the EC Red Bull Salzburg, which was an unforgettable experience. Michael truly went above and beyond, proving himself to be not only a an exceptional host but also a genuinely great guy. Just to add the drive to Salzburg is roughly 30 - 35 mins and the drive to the neighbouring villages like Strobl (12 to 15 mins), Sankt Wolfgang (under 20 mins) and Hallstat (40 - 45 mins). Highly recommended!!

I stayed for 3 nights in July. The place is very nice. They serve fast food across the street. I ordered fish and chips, which were very delicious. The staff are really kind. A big plus is that they speak English. Breakfast was delicious and out standarst. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is convenient, with many attractions nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Norman und Irine were of great help to us, picking us up from the airport and dropping us in Salzburg, brought us an umbrella and iron when we needed it, very nice and helpful. The one bedroom apartment was stunning in its decor and view of the lake. Very peaceful and very comfortable. Everything you needed for five day stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Even leaving treats for our dog. :) We enjoyed the location as well. A five minute walk to Spar grocery store and a 10 minute walk to the village. Easy access to Salzburg by car. We will definitely return!

The location was amazing - like a fairly tale! Charming church bells. Music in the square. Restaurants a plenty right outside the door. Parking was helpful. We loved the room's querkiness. We loved meeting the owners doggies!
