We were surprised by the cleanliness and by the fully equipped kitchen. The breakfast is also great - we adored the fresh fruit and freshly made juice - and brought to your room. Dinner can be booked and it is also very good! We would absolutely consider going back to Badamier our next time in La Digue.

Chez Mera Self Catering has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in La Digue, 700 metres from Anse La Reunion Beach. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. The host Mera was so lovely and responsive. The location is fantastic just a 10 min, easy walk from the ferry, on a quiet street. Mera is able to arrange for a bike at a very good rate and give advice about the island. The room exceeded expectations, it has all the amenities (large fridge, microwave, cooktop), gorgeous bathroom with a large shower, the place is so clean and the decor is lovely (you can see pics of the rooms on booking.com when you select the room type), the bed was comfortable, AC worked great, WiFi was perfect for work. There is an outdoor shower to rinse off, a patio in the garden to relax, Mera provides towels for the beach. I went on a snorkeling trip after checkout and Mera stored my luggage and had a shower I could use before catching the ferry. I will definitely stay here again.

Photos need updating bc I wasn’t expecting much. Was pleasantly surprised how nice and clean it was! We stayed in the back one on the left when facing it. Very spacious! Comfy bed AC great WiFi good. Peaceful and cozy felt right at home. Has beach access and is beautiful! Has everything you would need and provided water for 50 Sr which was so convenient. No need to go rent bikes they have them there. They gave my daughter a bottle of wine for her birthday! Felt very safe! Store and eateries in walking distance. Can’t go wrong staying here! The lanai was my fave spot and the orange birds and “chickens?” came right up on it. This is true island vibes! Loved the villa and the property is kept very pristine. Location is fantastic! Very short bike ride to grand anse entrance and anse source d’argent (in the park). She ordered a punctual taxi for pickup to jetty!

Nice garden, extra outside shower to remove sand. The cleaner was coming every day. Water in cooler is a great bonus. Basically we found everything we needed for our 2 weeks stay. The host organized bikes, in the evening it’s a nice lights around the garden. Everything is clean and cared. We enjoyed our stay ♥️

Loved the location of the cottage, surrounded by hills. Not too far from the jetty and Anse Grand and Source D Argent beaches. The patio was perfect to have meals and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The room itself was calming, well decorated and spacious and had a lovely fragrance. The AC cooled well. Fruits at the breakfast were amazing. Overall a very comfortable stay and a big shoutout to Russel for his hospitality!
