The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

It is right on the water and we went out on the dock both nights for sunset. The cabins are perfectly tucked away so it is very peaceful.

The guest house features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. The place has a nice garden full of tropical plants, and an open roofed space with chairs, tables and hammocks. The breakfast was the usual Nicaraguan gallo pinto (rice with black frijoles) with eggs and fried plantains. Tasty. I made my own coffee in the guest kitchen. There are some nice walks from the place to a natural pool, the nearby (1.5 km) Finca Magdalena, and along the lakeshore past Balgue.

Wonderful place in the middle of nature, the staff was great and always very helpful, breakfast was really good, excellent cost and benefit.

The owner Ryan was accommodating, welcoming and he helped us greatly with activities on ometepe. The food was good and the setting was picturesque. Can't wait to go back!
