Firstly the vibe of the place - this is not your standard cookie cutter resort in PD. This has a very unique style with massive murals, funky coloured furniture, and all the comforts. Uniquely, in the pool area there's the facilities of a standard kitchen providing guests the option to prepare their meals (Coles is just a short walk) and relax in a shaded dining area poolside. The pool area had a calming waterfall and it was great to hang out and experience peace and tranquility. As a solo traveller it was great to meet other guests of all nationalities and enjoy each other's company. Staff were very friendly and helpful in arranging my return transportation to Cairns at very short notice - Ruth you're a superstar! The ownership has transformed a standard '60's vintage Motel into a truly unique property - hats off to them!

Enjoy spacious self-contained apartments opposite the beach and 10-minutes from Macrossan Street. Everything was amazing! Great location, very clean, comfortable, great amenities! BBQ is a terrific addition! Hosts are very professional and attentive! Would definitely recommend!
