Everything was delightful and the staff (especially the young lady at reception) was as hospitable and efficient as one could wish. Just exceptional service.

IMLAUER Hotel Schloss Pichlarn is a family run hotel, situated on an elevation in the Ennstal valley in Styria, at the foot of the Grimming mountain massif. Fantastic in every way, I can’t praise it enough. It’s an 1000 year old castle but feels as nice as a new building. The staff is incredibly helpful and always with a smile on their face, it’s spotlessly clean, the spa is great (outdoor pool and jacuzzi and all the saunas you can hope for). It’s a bit pricey but you truly get what you pay for: royal treatment at a castle

After check-out, you can store your belongings in the ski room and spend the whole day on the slopes.

Katherin came and generously picked us up from the Schladming train station. During our stay she went out of her way to make sure we had directions and everything we needed for our snow trip! I could not recommend this accomodation more, everything was very clean, cosy and well located with the ability to hop on the slopes right outside of the house. I would definitely come back and stay if I’m back in Schladming :)

Idyllic location, close to the hiking trails, We loved cost rooms with really comfortable beds and pillows, lovely view from the balcony and of course they serve delicious breakfast and coffee. The hosts were very kind, helpful, and approachable.
