Our stay at Reindeer Lodge was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff was incredibly helpful and always available, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The setting of the lodge was magical, with its cozy atmosphere and tranquil surroundings. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to participate in the reindeer feeding each morning with the staff. It was a truly unforgettable experience. The meals at Reindeer Lodge were another standout feature. Prepared with only the freshest local ingredients, breakfast and dinner were nothing short of amazing. From the extraordinary staff to the cozy setting and delicious meals, every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations. Everything. The cabins are perfect and comfortable. The kitchenette comes with all utensils for good cooking and reheating. Was ideal for a vegetarian like me since I prefer to eat fresh cooked foods. The bunk bed looked small at first but was very cozy and easy. The cabin was well decorated, and we could enjoy the snow extremely well.

The property is easy to find and perfectly located at the lake that leads to Jukkasjärvi. We took a 30 min walk to the ice hotel. The house is like a tiny house but with a very spacious bathroom. All in all it looked really high-grade.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at Cozy Cabin Styled Loft. Our family of four—my wife, our 8-year-old daughter, our 2-year-old daughter, and I—found the small loft to be comfortable and well-equipped for our needs. It had a double bed and a sofa bed, which worked perfectly for us. Mark and Jenny, the hosts, were helpful. They gave us plenty of privacy while always being available if we needed anything. It’s clear that they put in a lot of effort to make sure guests have a great experience, and we’re happy to give them a well-deserved recommendation! The cabin was warm and cozy, with good Wi-Fi and all the essentials. The kitchenette was well-equipped with a microwave, coffee machine, kettle, plates, cutlery, cups, and mugs—perfect for preparing breakfast or simple meals. Plus, the TV had Google Chromecast, allowing us to connect our Netflix account easily. One of the highlights was being able to see the Northern Lights right from the balcony! The location, just outside Kiruna, is ideal—far enough to reduce light pollution but still close enough to town. While there are a few restaurant options, they are not within walking distance; you’ll need to drive about five minutes, but there are three good choices. There’s also a well-stocked Co-op grocery store open daily, making it easy to grab breakfast items or microwaveable meals. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Kiruna!

This place is perfect if you want a quiet location with Alttajärvi lake on one side and the woods and hill on the other side. We enjoyed the winter walks along the trails and walking on the lake! The location is perfect to spot northern lights and being close to IRF you can use the Aurora Alert on IRF Aurora App. Even when cloudy in Kiruna, Alttajärvi had clear sky with amazing star display of the milky way. Not much light pollution here!! Kiruna is only 15 mins away by car. The house has what you need for a few days. Washing machine has a 15min program and things dry easily over night on radiators or the clothes airer. Sheets and towels are provided. The fireplace is an extra plus! You can buy wood at petrol stations! Husky tours you will found everywhere! The mine is worth a visit! Northern light chase is for people without a car, you just need to step outside when nature decide to put on a display. Abisko has clearer nightsky so the probability to see it increases if you take yourself there.
