Quintessential Swedish, very nice, helpful hosts. As I had read in other reviews, the housekeeping was wanting, but it’s a wonderful space, in a rural, agricultural area.

This was what we were looking for: Somewhere where we could drive to Uppsala and other places in Central Sweden. The holiday home itself is situated in a farm. It's an interesting place: This used to be one of the type of Swedish noble dwelling where the aristocrats live in the main house (now the landlady's farmhouse) without a kitchen, and are fed by servants living in the subordinate buildings (one of which now includes the holiday home) - there's a grand house like this in Skansen, the open air museum in Stockholm. There's even parts of a moat.

    The room was cozy, nice, clean and well equipped. The owner was very friendly and most welcoming. I also liked the breakfast that was already set in the room's frigde. The surrounding was also nice, quiet and relaxing. Parking was easy: on the yard, right next to the houses there was a small parking area. I will return, if I'm going to travel again around that area.
