A really nice place one minute walk to a super beautiful beach connected to the property by stairs. The rooms are cosy with a private bathroom. Nicely equiped shared kitchen. There is also a restaurant and a huge terrace with view over the lake and stunning sunsets. Hammocks to chill and cold Toñas to enjoy. I booked for one night but wil stay a few more days. Nice local area with small shops and restaurants in walking distance. Lots of nature and San Ramón waterfal and Maderas volcano both close by. Good WiFi & friendly staff.

The owner was incredibly helpful in organising motorbike rental and helping with taxis. Sorted us breakfast early the day we had to leave. The location is beautiful, garden is super nice and the sunsets are amazing.

Location is perfect, great view of the volcano, amazing garden. Lots of birds and howler monkeys. Miguel and his brother were very helpful and nice. Local breakfast prepared just for us by amazing señoras! If you are looking for quite spot with lots of nature this is the place to be.

We stayed in the room with the private bathroom and it was just perfect. The shower even had hot water (not that you need it with the heat) and the room was really clean and made us feel at home. The hostel is surrounded by nature and they even offer filtered water which is really practical because buying countless plastic bottles was starting to annoy us. They also offer tours to the volcano, scooter rents and other activities for a very fair price. The breakfast is delicious as well, prepared fresh and with love. The owners were super friendly too. They told us what we could do in Ometepe giving their personal opinion on different activities without being pushy or trying to sell us any tours at all. We really loved our stay at Urraca Loca!
