A great place for anyone who wants to relax, recharge, and enjoy some peace and quiet in nature. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and do everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. The local people are always smiling and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The food is delicious — homemade, traditional, and cooked with love, just for you. The rooms are new, with a big, comfy bed, and there's hot water in the shower. In the mornings and evenings, it’s amazing to sit on the terrace, listen to the birds, and watch the monkeys. If you’re planning a trip to Wilpattu, make sure to stay at this resort! P.S. I’d say this is the best resort in the area.

Clean room, very friendly host and very cute puppies !! (called Sera and Nora) We are two girls and felt very safe! The host was very helpful and helped us with arranging a safari. The safari was super nice, we saw the leopard, elephant and our favourite: the sloth bear. For a full day safari they arrange breakfast, lunch and some snacks so it was good worth of money.

If you are looking for the best hotel to stay for your trip to Wilpattu National Park, this is the place!! We had an amazing 3 nights here. The rooms are clean and big. Property is beautifull, and even has a swimming pool. The food here is the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, we ate the same curry three nights in a row because it was so good. But the best part is the family that runs the place. They have the kindest and sweetest souls and really made our stay the best. We would love to come back and would HIGHLY recommend!! And they also have the sweetest dogs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lavendish Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort, hospitality, and a great atmosphere. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. Special thanks goes to Pradeep the manager of the property. One of the highlights of my stay was the beautiful ambiance and the peaceful surroundings, making it a perfect place to relax. The food was also fantastic, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The hotel setting was lovely. Supun took excellent care of us. We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The location was very convenient as it was steps away from the Wilpattu National park. Supun drove us on our Safari and was a very good guide and a spotter especially with the birds. We will definitely visit again.

We loved our two nights stay at the Ceylon Resort in Wilpattu. Roshan communicated a lot with us before our stay, helping us to organise a driver for pick up from the airport, as well as a full day safari in the national park. He even offered to drive us himself to our next destination, with a few hours stop in Anuradhaphura where he organised a guide and tuktuk to take us around. The room was clean and comfortable and the host and his family are very sweet, making sure all the needs of the guests are met. The food prepared by his wife is very tasty and they were accommodating all of my many food allergies, which I appreciate a lot. We absolutely recommend staying at Ceylon Resort!

    Stayed here a couple nights for the Tuktuk Tournament. Excellent location for Wilpattu National Park. Very cheap!! Good and plentiful breakfast. We were sent with a packed breakfast on the morning of our Wilpattu NP safari which was appreciated. Under cover parking for our TukTuk.
