We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Golden Crown Hotel in Ampitiya and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by the General Manager and his team. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their guests - truly commendable. The hotel itself is stunning, with beautiful views and immaculate facilities, but it was the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the General Manager that truly made my stay memorable. His professionalism and dedication to providing top-notch service is a true asset to the hotel. I would highly recommend the Golden Crown Hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay in Kandy. Thank you to the General Manager and his team for an unforgettable experience.

Very spacious and comfy room at such a reasonable price! You can arrange Tuk Tuk transfer to reach this place. Ashan is really a friendly and helpful host. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted not just as guests, but truly as friends. The warmth and hospitality of Sudesh’s family made this one of the most memorable stays of our trip. The food was absolutely delicious – all home-cooked meals prepared with love by the owner’s family, and every bite felt like a taste of authentic Sri Lankan home life. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!
