We were in a cottage (Hraun) and the tiny house was absolutely great. Exceeded our expectations! Self check-in and checkout was very efficient. The hot tub was very modern and changing facilities were available (heated!). All in all we had a great stay!

Helpful host, clear direction. Nice house surrounded by expanse view. Big parking area, easy to find. Big space in additional living area. When we booked, the property clearly state about bathroom. Like the kitchen and dining area is separated. ( can also eat inside kitchen area too) Situated nearby main road but feel solitude, which is nice. Great price & value overall.

The property was amazing, such a lovely modern, well-equipped villa, literally in the middle of nowhere, yet just a ~30 min drive from the closest town! It's rare to say this on Booking, but in reality it is better than what you see on the photos. 10 of us stayed there for 2 nights. Super easy to communicate with the hosts and to get in - there is a lockbox at the door. The villa was squeaky clean, the rooms and beds super comfortable and the kitchen is impeccably equipped with everything you don't even know you might need. The highlight, of course, is the outdoor hot tub, which can comfortably fit 12 people. Watching the northern lights from there was quite literally a life-changing experience. The hosts were super nice and easy to communicate with, also shared with us a a super helpful information pack about the area and what we can do while we are there. 11/10 would recommend!

We stayed in Helga III, amazing cabin near the lake. 1,5 years ago we were also guest in this amazing place, loved the place once again. Excellent place, it superseded our expectations and was the best place we stayed in during our visit around Iceland. The accommodation has plenty of space and all the necessary amenities, looks very cozy and is in a quiet location. A small extra tip that we appreciated, the apartment and the bedsheets very clean, fresh and also did not smell like cheap laundry detergent, so an extra bonus for people sensitive to smells. Definitely recommend Hítarneskot Accommodations and very grateful to the host for a great stay.
