Very quiet location, but not far from many interesting places like horse riding, thermal pools, waterfalls, nature interests.. Also the hot tub with 24/7 working is perfect. Rooms, bathrooms and kitchen, all very clean and practically furnished. Nice and helpfull hosts.

This is a beautiful cottage. Very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, due to the weather the hot tub was not used but it was ready and available for us. The lounge space was really nice to relax in, my only disappointment is only staying one night in this gorgeous place.

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.
