Loved the house (it dates from the 1770's and has been sympathetically renovated), loved our spacious room and ensuite, loved that there were common areas both inside and out that we felt comfortable to use. This included a basic kitchenette with crockery and cutlery where we were able to prepare our own dinner. Hostess was friendly and helpful and made us the BEST-EVER breakfast. Amazing value. Overall, a really good experience.

Everything about this property was amazing. From the location to the beautiful surrounding and setting in general. 5 minute spin into Gort. A busy town with everything you could possible need but far away that you are completely in the countryside. So peaceful and quiet. The house itself is so comfortable and homely. Beautifully decorated and clean rooms. I just knew the host put so much love into the house. Plan on staying here again with a group of friends soon. Highly recommend! 😊

Caroline is an excellent host. Super friendly and easy to communicate with. We spent one night on our way from Galway to Dublin. The breakfast is amazing. We had pancakes, porridge and eggs on toast, coffee and orange juice. Everything was delicious.

Anita at Bealkelly Country House is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our 2 night stay very much. The house is beautiful and is in a picturesque location. We stayed in the Derg and Shannon Suites and had the house to ourselves. Everything was spotless and comfortable. We had delicious scones and tea on arrival and enjoyed drinks in the bar in the evenings. We didn't have breakfast only because we don't eat early. Anita does catering, and judging by her scones, I can imagine the breakfast would be lovely.

We had a lovely stay in the Dillion house, very easy find, our room was absolutely stunning it was the superior king room, with the most beautifully decorated bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and bedroom, the bed was huge and so comfortable, this was such a treat, we had a wedding that was in the Meadow Court Hotel which was about 5 minutes drive, easy to get a taxi too and from. Ideal location overall. Lots off shops within walking distance, David the owner met us there with keys and was very attentive. We will definitely visit again, This property was fabulous and newly decorated with lots off beautiful touches it was spotless. Thanks David.

Absolutely everything, the apartment was very clean , very cosy ,it was a home from home experience. Alva was an exceptional host. There was nothing Alva wouldn't do for you. She went above and beyond to make our stay a very memorable one. We will most definitely be coming back. I would highly recommend anyone to stay and experience the tranquility and peace of the rural side of country and only a throw away from all amenities)center of Galway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
