The house was beautiful, loved the decor and had all the facilities you needed. The hot tub was lovely to use, especially after a long day of exploring. Kept updated by the host by messages and got all the instructions for the stay and top tips for the area. Would definitely stay again.

Denehurst was excellent, the property was very clean and comfortable. Great choices for breakfast and Ken and Cindy were great with their knowledge of all the local walks a restaurants in the area, will definitely return.

Very comfortable flat with all the comforts of home. John was great - he provided us with most of the info we needed when we got there, and was responsive to questions. The place is close to everything in Windermere, including the bus that goes to the other towns. I would stay here again any time.

Overall, everything was perfect. The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

    The lady who owned and ran the property was in a single word lovely. The guest house has kept its tradition looks, though with added modernisation. Breakfast was divine. On premises Car parking an extra benefit as street parking isn't possible like to many guest houses in the area
