Enjoyed being in nature, not hearing car traffic rather hearing bird song. Comfy, well layed out pod. Had all we need for a night's stay.

Stunning surroundings, the host was exceptional to the point he even ground us some fresh coffee and brought it to the lodge as we hadn’t brought any. The lodge was extremely comfortable, clean and well maintained. Our host was welcoming and friendly with lots of advice as to what walks and activities were available. The view from the cabin was stunning, it looks down the Loch and you can hear the water lapping up around the rocks below it as you relax in the lounge area. There was parking next to the lodge and the lodge itself was warm throughout our stay (November) as were the showers in both bathrooms. The lodge was very well stocked with towels, blankets and all the small things that make life that bit more comfortable when you’re travelling. I must thank our host for making our stay so pleasant. I’d happily recommend this lodge and will hopefully be back sometime soon.

Barbara & Thorsten are so lovely, really care about their guests and clearly want guests’ stays to be as comfortable as possible. The facilities are spotless, and nice & quiet. About 5-10 minutes walk to the Oak Inn which is a great post-dinner or early morning walk.
