What a great place. Top notch location for the avid walker, with lovely rambles everywhere. Excellent breakfast and dinner too. Kind and helpful staff. Beautiful and very clean room.I slept very well indeed!

Beautiful accommodation and lovely little extras of honey/eggs/bread. Peaceful location with lovely views over the fields. Hosts were fantastic and even took us to see the sheep and horses the following morning.

Great location for me - I was looking at properties in the area. Julia welcomed me just as I had arrived - very friendly and helpful. She checked on a number of occasions that I had everything I needed and said to contact her there was anything at all she could help with. The kitchen was well stocked with all necessary kitchenware - probably the best I have seen in this regard. I was very comfortable. The bed linen and towels were of good quality and the bed very comfortable. I met Julia's husband and family members in passing - all very friendly.

This is the second time I've stayed here. Love this place! Evening meal was great. Breakfast fantastic. Lesley who served us was so friendly, and helpful. We didn't feel rushed at all. Room was great. Parking no problem, plenty of space.

    Easy to get to and ample parking. Lovely large room, which was beautifully cool on what had been the hottest day of the year! Friendly and helpful staff. The chocolates and welcome note were a nice touch. We had a delicious lunch, and the pancake breakfast was huge.

    Easy to find and great parking. The room and bathroom were a nice size, the bed was comfy. Breakfast choice was excellent with everything you could want. Good covered outside space. Would definitely want to stay here again to sample the restaurant menu as it sounds great.
