We loved our stay! The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

The location was magnificent. John and Jacky were best of hosts. Kind hardworking scottish farmers. Jacky an amazing cottage weaver.The bothy was A great place to get away from worldly materialism... they supplied all basics of camp stove cooking . Composting toilet and a lovely pete fire. Very cosy with a nice comfortble bed. I felt warm and safe and remote. Away from mainstream society. Loved the helpful host, Beverly. She corresponded with us prior to our trip to help us plan all our adventuress. The cottage is very well appointed, warm and cozy. The location is great, close to the north and middle of the island to explore all the attractions.

Everything, our host went the extra mile in hosting us making us welcome. The room was exceptional with ensuite and breakfast was amazing. Olive even gave us flasks for hot drinks on our tour she was wonderful.

The owner is a wonderful host. On our tour around Scotland this was our favorite accommodation. This is due to the lovely owner, comfortable room, the dram of Scotch she had in our room when we arrived, the beauty of Stornoway and Margo’s wonderful breakfast. We didn’t want to leave.
