This is an exceptionally comfortable, spacious and welcoming property. It is warm and well-furnished. Fixtures and fittings all of a high standard and work well. Great views across the surrounding farmland and then into the hills, and big windows to enjoy them! Helpful host met me with complimentary milk and cakes. Well-organised, explanatory notes around the place. Good wifi, certainly for such a remote location. Good shower, excellent bed. A bunch of acrobatic pied wagtails cavort around the cottage. The geographical 'centre of Scotland' is a couple of miles along the Glen Truim road towards Newtonmore, marked by a big cairn and signage.

Everything was to a very high standard, the breakfast exceptional, really exceptional. Didn't miss it not being cooked. Lovely room and bathroom for a family of 4. Very quiet location and food options for dinner very close. Loved being able to open window at night for a little ventilation. Would definitely recommend. Kids loved the bunks.Room fitted out to an extremely high standard. Very good location for a variety of activities. Really suggest looking at this to avoid paying fort william prices.

We traveled a lot through Scotland along the years and I am confident to say that this is an excellent choice to stay. The property is a very nice and very well kept old house. Room has independent heating, hair dryer, fridge (with complimentary water, soft drink and fresh milk), a Nespresso coffee machine and even ear plugs! The beds were very comfortable. Brian and Laura are very diligent and efficient in case you need anything. The breakfast is absolutely outstanding. We had full Scottish breakfast and you can very well tell the quality of the products. Definitely hard to find a breakfast that equals this.
