Was initially worried about poor Google Reviews so was glad our stay was very comfortable and aligned with travellers’ reviews on Booking.com . The in-room washer and dryer was the main reason for booking the apartment as we needed to do laundry. Received an unexpected upgrade to a double bedroom on the 9th floor. Deposit return processed promptly one day after check-out. Room as pictured.

The service and the dinner at the Penny Blue exceeded our expectations. My wife loved the quail, and we both loved the mushroom gnocchi - (simply the best). It is an excellent accommodation for exploring Adelaide. The location is close to the city centre and there is a free city bus stop nearby. The bus runs a circular route through the entire city centre and should be used to get a first impression of the city. The flats are very well maintained and clean. All necessary toiletries are available in the bathroom. The fridge is well suited for cooling drinks. There is a sink, but it is not possible to cook as there is no cooker. A well-stocked minibar (for a fee) provides small treats. The bed is very comfortable. The room can be darkened very well with the blinds. Checking in and out is well organised and very easy. The staff is very attentive and helpful. We were given good tips for restaurants. We visited one of them and were very satisfied. There is plenty of parking either in the courtyard or directly in front of the accommodation on the street.

Location in the hills gave us a very comfortable experience with easy access to hiking, village activities, and relaxation. included breakfast had limited selections but enough to keep us well fed and ready to explore. The "turndown service" with a glass of port and handmade chocolate ended each day with a lovely note.

    The room was small but well set out and appointed.. it was extremely clean and very comfortable. The balcony was a welcome addition and the shower was lovely and the water hot. Small fridge, kettle and even an iron and ironing board supplied. The staff were very friendly, check in around the corner at the Majestic old lion. Was a bit different but again staff very friendly. Limited car parking on site but free parking after 6pm until 8am at the nearby Dunn Street parking. Easy access and lift access

    We had a room on the top floor with a view over Adelaide. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. When we had to wait a long time for breakfast we were given a late check out. Would stay again, good location. There is a car park just on the corner about a 1 minute walk but on street parking is available free after 6pm.

    This hotel surprised us. We avoid Crowne Plaza hotels in Europe and the States because they are a poor offering. This hotel looked good and it was good. Very happy with the staff, our room, facilities and the location. It's a great place from which to discover Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills. There's an inexpensive secure parking lot next door.
