The hostel features a hot spring bath, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. K's house hostels have been exceptionally incredible through my travels in Japan. This one being the best I've had the pleasure of staying in. The cleanliness is equivalent to some of the fanciest hotels out there, I can't overstate how comfy the common areas and rooms are. The onsen is great, although not very large. I picked the cheapest room option, and I was pleasantly surprised to find a massive room with wall sized view right into the forest, comfortable bunk beds with excellent ventilation.

Breakfast was good. Lots of food provided. Clean environments here and there. Beautiful view from my room balcony. Onsen was amazing!! This hotel is highly recommended.

There were lots of extras that you wouldn't find in other places, e.g. many different coffee and tea options, all free of charge. The property features mountain and garden views, and is 7.9 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station. The guest house provides rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I like the beautiful garden and room, also friendly host. Also all guests here are so nice, we chat together a lot.

The guesthouse and all the bathrooms were very clean, the staff was fabulous and very helpful and the onsen in the basement was the cherry on top. Also the kitchen was very well equipped and had everything we needed for cooking including a variety of spices

Guests at Hakone Mount View can enjoy rare volcanic hot spring water called nigori-yu, either in a shared open-air bath or at a surcharge in a private one. The hotel offers a shop with local products, Japanese-style confectionery shop. Totally worth it. Our experience in hakone wouldnt have been the same if we wouldnt have stayed in the hotel. Totally recommeded to get the dinner as there’re not much restaurants near by
