The room was amaizing! It was very traditionally japanese and some amaizing sweets and tea were left in the room for us to enjoy. The onsen was great and relaxing and the breakfast that was included in the booking was very delicious and healthy. Very nice view from all rooms as well!

I can't imagine travelling in Japan if there was no APA Hotel. I always stay at APA because of its proximity to the train station. Also, it is difficult to find a hotel with a hot spring bath for price as low as APA's. Best deal always.

It was unfogetable eperience- we met the owner and it was amazing to see how past meets modern Japan. More then 500 years onsen was first esperience in my life also we enjoyed first time private onsen with my husband .We had breakfast and diner served in room and it was unforgettable , especially egg cooked in onsen! Exceeded my expectations. The views from the room and the rooftop onsen were gorgeous, the meals were consistently great, the location was a great point from which to explore the town, and the staff were, without exception, friendly and attentive.

I loved the place. I have never stayed in a hotel that I would have loved more. It was my first experience with hot springs and I enjoyed them a lot. Why not a full smile for bed: my arthritis and futon were not the best friends, haha! But that was not hotel's fault. But I managed well enough. And I have never had a more beautiful view from a hotel window.

Well situated on the Ikaho Stone Steps, Kishigon Ryokan had a wonderful check in service and large breakfast buffet selection. The 3 onsen choices were all different. The open aspect onsen was my favourite. There was a magnificent view as you stepped out of the main elevator.

This was more like a resort than a hotel, with Onsen instead of pool. Such a beautiful spot and the staff were so kind, attentive and helpful. We are so grateful to them.

    As usual great dinner, this time in the tatami room and not the restaurant, made it even better. It doesn't feel crowded even though a lot of rooms were reserved. Onsen was perfect. A must stay in the Takasaki area.
