About a 5 minute walk so we could leave the car at motel which saved us money on parking. 4 minute walk to kfc and a bit further up are a lot of other takeaways. Friendly host and very accommodating. Good to view the television. The shower was large with decent pressure. The hosts were friendly and not imposing. The whole motel was extremely quiet, and I think they were close to full. The motel is in an excellent location on the Esplanade with views across the bay and harbour.. The Esplanade was just across the road, convenient for walking or jogging or a stroll to the Settlers Museum. Our room was well equipped and had two comfortable arm chairs, also patio doors for with access to table and chairs for an evening drink watching the sun set.
