We enjoyed the swimming pool. The air conditioning in the room worked well. The location was OK - only about a 3 block walk to the waterfront. At sunset we could watch the flying foxes going by. We originally booked for two nights and then decided to stay for five. We couldn't extend the original booking on booking.com, so we made a separate one for the additional 3. The hotel was able to amalgamate the two bookings so that we could have the same room for all five nights. And we ended up with a big room with a full size fridge.

The apartment (room), I say apartment because that was what it was had everything. Beautiful linen, large bath, balcony and cooking facilities if you choose to cook.

Ideally located just 800 metres north of the Cairns city centre, Aspect Central offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, bar and outdoor swimming pool.

It is a bit old and retro, but very clean and spacious. The staff were very friendly. I had an overnight in Port Douglas and they not only looked after my luggage while I was away, they delivered it to my room so it was waiting to me when I returned.
