We had a tea ceremony on arrival, the baths were great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. Especially we are thankful for Suzuka’s hospitality for taking care of our 3years old baby girl while we were having drinks (parents will know that feeling to get some free time for yourself). The place is also wonderful, walking through hotel you can feel wood smell it was so relaxing.

It is set 20 km from Iwafune Shrine and provides a lift. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. If you want the authentic feel of a ryokan, this is the place. Nara Park is right next to the property, where you can feed the famous deer. The tatami beds are incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed drinks on the terrace with an amazing view. It was a pity that the Pagoda is currently under renovation, expected to be completed around 2033 — so if you book here, don’t be disappointed if you can’t see it. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

It is also within walking distance of Murou Art Forest. Both are must-sees. Parking is available but requires a reservation so be sure to contact the proprietor. After each day of sightseeing around the area, I looked forward to returning to my room and enjoying the cleanliness and comfort. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable stay away from the city, look no further!
