All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious and the bar/restaurant made for a cosy retreat from the grey, February weather.

Built in 1930, this 5-star bed and breakfast is within 2.5 km of Compass Cove Beach and 1.6 km of Dartmouth Castle. The bed and breakfast features family rooms. Everything. Was so gorgeous and fresh, perfect location!! Hosts went above and beyond.

Very high and modern standard. Extremely good hospitality and great food. Do not miss this excellent B&B! It is worth a trip. We regret that we did not stay longer, but would love to come back.

At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. The private bathroom is fitted with a hair dryer. Steve and Toshi were amazing. Dinner was fabulous. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. They have a great chef! Thoroughly recommend the mushroom and truffle Arancini for a starter for dinner and the mushroom toast for breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable ! Loved it and Tavistock !

The room was huge and very comfortable and nicely decorated. The water was hot and bed comfy. Breakfast very good. Great location. Lady was very pleasant . Would be good to have a sign that says park here for Instow Barton :)

The 4-star guest house features garden views and is 1.2 km from Blacklands Beach. The guest house has family rooms. The location was superb. Andrew was a great host and we felt that we were treated like royalty, the best breakfast we have ever had. We cannot recommend highly enough.

The bedroom was warm always. Scott and Alistair were very accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The weekly Thursday Italian night menu was excellent.
