The outside is deceiving but inside is tasteful with rooms surrounding an inner courtyard. The suite we stayed in was wonderful - spacious, clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated and furnished. The staff, and Andrea in particular, are excellent - attentive and doing what they can to make sure the stay is a success. The breakfast was nice with fresh juice, fruit, and eggs made to order. The location is walkable and felt safe even coming back in the early evening. Plenty of restaurants close by as well as various historic buildings. Lots of little touches that showed concern for guest well being.

Very accommodating and helpful staff, attentive to newcomers security. 5mn walk to subway or bus stop to go around town, and well situated to visit historic center. Cosy outside terrasse with views. Non smoker rooms. Chakana was recommended to me by travellers and I can only strongly further the recommendation. Everything there is so well thought out, for a very affordable price. May it stay that way with the success they deserve.
