The space was thoughtfully designed with plenty of storage, and the beds were super comfortable. It’s a little further out of town, but we appreciated the quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were warm, helpful, and made us feel right at home. A real highlight was the excellent café just a short walk away, serving delicious breakfast and lunch with beautiful river views—we went every day. We also loved relaxing on our patio each afternoon and stepping straight into the pool.

All of the units feature a private balcony or courtyard too. I had a wonderful experience at Douglas Port. The place is convenient, spacious, clean, and offers great value for the price. The managers are nice, and incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

All I can say is that Thala Beach Nature Reserve is fabulous and if you love nature and natural beauty I highly recommend it as the perfect place for a quiet or romantic get-away.

All the Mandalay Luxury Beachfront Apartments come with full kitchen and laundry facilities, spacious indoor and outdoor living areas and modern audio-visual equipment. Fabulous place to stay. Spacious, block out curtains in bedrooms, lovely balcony with comfy chairs. It was fab being across the Rd from the beach as you could hear the ocean. The pool also looked out on beautiful vegetation. My family loved the tennis court. Also 15 min walk to town. There are no lifts so ask for ground floor apartment if don’t like stairs.

The famous Four Mile Beach is only a 5-minute stroll away We spent a fantastic week here. Location was great, walkable to the beach and town. Mel and Andy were super helpful with local information and arranged tours for us. The pool was nice and the acommodation perfect for our family of 6. Nice outdoor BBQ area.

The swimming pool was massive and absolutely fabulous—such a lovely extra touch that made our stay even more relaxing. We’ve traveled to many countries and stayed in countless places, and I can honestly say this is up there with the best. Communication was excellent throughout—our host was always quick to respond, even to my smallest questions, and that level of attentiveness made our stay feel extra welcoming. The location is also perfect, with a stunning beach just a short walk away. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return!
