We had a fantastic stay, and love everything about the place. The rooms are clean, and so well equipped. The location is fantastic for exploring everything in Franschhoek. Most of all we enjoyed “happy hour” with the owners, Lin and Mick, and the other guests - it was always the perfect start to the night. Staying at 1aa Wilhelminia is also fantastic value for money - I would highly recommend and definitely look forward to returning for another visit.

The staff were exceptional, the facilities are luxurious with all sorts of extra touches along the way and the town is easily within walking distance. The neighbourhood is secure and quiet. A bonus was staying in intimate, luxurious place which is not overrun by guests and their noise.

The room was stunning, beautiful furnishings and newly built. The standout was the bathroom and the bath tub. Breakfast was lovely each morning, the staff were extremely friendly. The lavender had started to bloom which made for a nice outlook each day. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful.

The staff are amazing and have been here for a very long time - which says a lot. The welcome glass of wome from their vineyard is a sign of the good things that follow... the food!! The location is fantastic - it is right in the middle of town center and very close to the wine tram terminal. The staff was very welcoming and made arrangements so we could start our day nice and early without having to worry about the check in. The rooms look amazing and the beds are super comfortable (plus they make sure you have water bottles ready besides your bed after whole day of tasting different wines - nice touch) And of course - the breakfast. Service and the food were just amazing! Thank you for the lovely experience!
