Isle of ManThe staff are brilliant. The food is amazing. The accommodation is beautiful. The private game reserve felt special, as if we had it to ourselves during our excursions. I had very high expectations based on the price and the whole experience met these. Everything was catered for effortlessly.

This must be THE BEST safari lodge and wildlife experience in southern SA!
The location, the staff, the guides, the food, the overall experience was absolutely superb.
An added bonus was the open bar. A very nice touch indeed.
We were lucky enough to meet the owners, and we can see why this place is as nice as it was :-)

Amazing oasis in the middle of the Game Reserve. Super friendly and attending staff and the ultimate safari experience. Highly recommend this for everyone looking for luxury and safari!

Everything - our entire stay was perfect. The lodge is beautiful, our tent was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view out to the watering hole. The bath and outdoor shower were great. Staff could not do enough for you - so friendly and kind. Our ranger was fantastic, very experienced and knowledgable about the area and the animals and we got some great sightings. The lodge is all inclusive and luxury and worth every penny - we would love to go back! If you are considering Amakhala reserve you need to stay here!

No negative aspects at all. Great tents (maybe needed to be updated shortly) but nothing serious. Service is next level. Game drives were superb and very informative. Stay here for a perfect safari

The game drives were simply superb. Rob our ranger was excellent and made sure each of our trips in 2 days were a unique experience. The staff are so warm and welcoming. The cottages are lovely and comfortable. The service is impeccable and the food is delicious.
