The unit was well equipped with everything you need. Nice and clean spacious big lounge room with nice big TV. Location was great close to restaurants and shops.

Set on 1.5 acres of native landscape. The Church Accommodation is a 5-minute walk from Hahei Village and a 10-minute walk from Hahei Beach.

Stunning setting, little wooden cottages dotted among a semi-tropical paradise garden. Very private cottages, beautifully made with veranda and very peaceful. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. There was also a lovely communal room. Breakfast was served each day in our room on a tray, it was just perfect, including the most delicious home-made muesli. The location was perfect, walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The whole atmosphere of The Church accommodation and the village was exactly what we had wished for, in fact even better!

The house was spacious and it had all the amenities we needed. These included washing machine, fridge, utensils, crockery and more. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. They stopped by to welcome us and made sure everything was OK. The hosts also stocked the pantry with essentials plus champagne, which we thoroughly enjoyed on a rainy afternoon. All in all, it was a wonderful experience!

Love this place! Ann-Marie and Ash are lovely hosts. We stayed in the cottage/barn (i.e. the original house, which was turned into a barn in 1872 when the main house was built, and then converted back to a cottage in later years), which is good for up to 4 people (incl kids). The shower was amazing; the cottage also had a full sized fridge, and a BBQ and outdoor furniture outside. Beautifully quiet location - lovely. A short walk to town across a sports field (or a <2min drive if inclement weather prevents comfortable walking)
