Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails. The massage was great, food was perfect, don’t need to do reservation, enough place for everyone. Hot tube was amazing, we took hit bath after sunset, sound of waterfall nearby!!!! Very relaxing, good sleep after.

Sophia and Luc are warm, generous people. not only did Sophia provide a wonderful welcome, on my way out they both came and rescued me from a flat tire and changed it for me!

Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport is 54 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. The villa and luxury tent were great to stay in and we all slept well! We were close to nature and saw a lot of animals in our short stay, we should have booked for longer! It is a perfect location for a family or business event. Breakfast was prepared in the villa by the breakfast team and everyone loved it! The wood fired hot tubs are great too!

We loved everything about the property, the staff and of course, the game!! Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. Absolutely lovely private game Lodge near Addo national park. Excellent food and lovely staff. Chalets were beautiful. Great views from the pool. Went for game drive on their property and saw many different animals and was able to feed giraffe.

The position of this hotel, right on the best beach of Jeffreys Bay, allows visitors the luxury to walk barefoot (50 m) from their room to the Ocean. And what a spectacular sunrise from the balcony! The atmosphere at the Surf Lodge is very jolly and relaxed at the same time, and they offer plenty of activities for their visitors (surfing but not only that). Definitely not my last visit :-)
