The Kiwi Suite (that we booked) was perfect in every way, fully equipped with all the necc amenities and had amazing views of Lake Taupo. Very quiet and super comfy beds. Breakfast simply yummy & prepared to perfection by Karen. A wonderful home that has so much character to it because of the exquisite collection of artwork & artifacts accumulated by Rob over the years. A must stay for anyone looking for THE perfect place.

The lodge offers a children's playground. This place was amazing, I'm so glad I found it. So comfortable, they had everything we asked for to use in the kitchen, very well stocked kitchen as well. Shower was great, bed was super comfortable. Loved the free spa and the activities room. Super friendly staff, this was truly a gem. Had such a comfortable stay here, especially for a rainy day. Parking is a bit tight sometimes but it's close to the room and it works! Highly recommend!

Hiking, skiing and fishing are possible within the area, and the lodge offers ski storage space. We loved our stay at the Quarters. It was so clean and comfortable! The communal kitchen was also clean and well equipped. We also enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor area.. The location beside the river trail was great. It was easy to walk into town as well. It was also convenient for getting to and from the Tongariro Crossing hike. We would highly recommend The Quarters to other travellers.
