Also we really liked the option of cooking our own food snd having access for storage in the fridge and pantry. The on-site guides Ingo and Connie added so much to our stay with their amazing energy and joie de vivre! they are both amazing people! We went on a Mangrove kayak with Ingo that was outstanding.

The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Lieke and Michael have a beautiful little lodge, with plenty of flora and fauna (we spent alot of time bird watching from our covered porch). The pool is even nicer than pictures and the temperature was perfect for cooling off. Food was excellent, and their included breakfasts were the best we had in CR (fruit and yogurt, great coffee, juice, tipico or pancake desayuno). We had our little girl there and she had a blast. With all the trees it felt very private, would go back in a heartbeat. The area is very quiet, which we loved, and tons of beaches.

A terrace is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. From arrival to departure, everything to perfection. The owners are very nice and make sure you have everything you need. The food in the evening and the breakfast were both very good. The lodges themselves are stunning and very clean with an amazing view. I would recommend this place to everyone, its amazing. Wish I stayed longer. Note: if you go by car, don’t trust google maps, it will guide you offroad. Its nice but you need both an adventurous mindset and an 4x4, don’t try it without both of them or you might run into trouble (e.g. get stuck). There is a proper road towards the lodges which is fine, look at the instructions the owners send you or ask them.
