The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Guests can also relax in the garden. The perfect place for some rainforest relaxation. Jhon coordinated everything prior to our arrival, including boat to/from Mocagua and tours. On arrival we were met by Nelson and transported to the location by boat and 15 min walk (high water season). We did several activities, most within walking distance of the accommodation. Standout was the Cocoa Route, harvesting and processing chocolate from their own trees. The place is owned by a local family and they were lovely (even with our poor Spanish).

An American, vegan or gluten-free breakfast can be enjoyed at the property. Pilar built herself a little paradise. The „garden“ is beautiful. You sleep with all the animal sounds at night, it’s even more amazing when it rains but it gets really really loud at night, if you need a quiet place to sleep this is not it. I listen to animal and rainy sounds on spotify to fall asleep so it was easy for me. There will also be insects in the house (which I didn’t mind). The shower is spacious. Pilar is a very friendly and attentive host and will organize the tours for you. Just tell her what you want to do. Wifi works good.

Alfredo Vásquez Cobo International Airport is 1 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Beautiful location. Very isolated. Zip lines are cool and guides are great but it’s not for the less adventurous of your party.

A terrace can be found at the lodge, along with a garden. The location was incredible and our stay in the tree house was very comfortable. All the staff were very kind and attentive, helping us to decide and arrange tours for everything we wanted to do. Luis even kindly rescued us from a tarantula who had made its home in our room! Arranging a private boat to the hotel was very easy and facilitated by Natura.

Being located in the Amazon Region and close to the amazing river, guests can enjoy canoeing trips to explore the eco-system, experience night time safaris and go hiking on one of the nearby trails. The property can arrange private or group tours to destinations like Puerto Narino, Tarapotos Lake or Yavari River with bilingual guides. It’s a beautiful property. Large rooms with a hammock in the front part. Amazingly beautiful surroundings in the garden. Very close to the restaurants, bars and the park Santander. Also to the boats for puerto Narino. The owner is really nice and speaks English as well. Great breakfast!
