We really appreciated the cosy and familiar atmosphere. Everyone is very accommodating and friendly. The food and the dinner atmosphere at the camp fire was mind blowing. We enjoyed the exceptional experience and would definitely recommend it.

The staff was very accommodating. The room was impeccable and well appointed. We really enjoyed the viewing pond out our back lanai. Our guide was knowledgeable and was an overall five star experience. Staff was attentive and accommodating.

The property is wonderfully situated next to the river and animals can be seen at all times of the day from the common area or your balcony. The game drives were absolutely amazing. We got the big 5 and so much more! Staff are lovely and guides knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Umkumbe Riverside Lodge! Best Christmas morning of my 59 years.

It’s very close to the Paul Kruger gate has a pretty view to a small dam next to the national park and also has a pool dinner was included, which was a surprise and they have traditional dishes, which were delicious. We also left very early and they were prepared to give us a breakfast box to take away definitely recommended to say a night if you want to be close to the Kruger park
