Lodges in Phong Nha

I want to take the time to thank Huy, the owner of the property. He was so lovely! I arrived very early and he made sure I could take a hot shower to freshen up and he made me some yummy breakfast. At the facility, I could rent a motorbike and Huy arranged a really good tour. I am glad I did the tour instead of going to the caves myself, it added so much depth to hear the stories from the guide. All in all, thank you so much Huy, you were the perfect host!

Already the fact that we were welcomed by the whole family (including the dog) when we arrived was a great start. The family is so lovely and welcoming! The rooms are really spacious and super clean. The place is so beautiful and in the middle of the rice fields. It’s a bit outside the town, but super easily reachable to motorbike in just a few mins (rental on site). The breakfast every day is delicious and the family dinners in the evening are every day different and always super tasty. (Also they made us some soup when we first arrived a bit late in the evening) They supported with booking a tour to go to the caves and were always ready to help with anything. Highly recommended if you are in Phong Nha!! :)

We had a mountain and river facing room, which was extremely quiet and had an unparalleled view. The breakfast was hearty and tasty. Even when we had to leave at 7 am for a cave tour, Long and Lan made sure we have breakfast. They took care of everything for us - local recommendations, tours, buses, and anything else we needed. Our shoes broke so they got us super glue from the market! They made sure laundry was timely and well-done at a reasonable price. The cycles were free and in really good condition as well. We loved it so much here, we extended our stay by 2 nights. On our last night, they graciously invited us to their family dinner - this was the most homely experience for us in Vietnam! Highly recommend!

This homestay was great. We got picked up from where the bus dropped us off which was great, and then Van and her family were very welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and we also ate dinner here one night and that was really good as well.

It's a convenient base for exploring Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. The park is home to some of the most impressive caves in the world, including Son Doong Cave, the largest cave in the world. Phong Nha Eco Village offers a variety of tours and activities to help you explore the park, such as caving tours, hiking tours, and kayaking tours. It's a sustainable ecotourism destination. The village is committed to protecting the environment, and it uses a variety of sustainable practices, such as solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and organic waste composting. It's a great place to experience Vietnamese culture. The village offers a variety of cultural activities, such as cooking classes, traditional dance performances, and visits to local villages.
