Very friendly people. Beautiful house, room and terrace. The owner did the interior design himself. It has a very Scandinavia and Sri Lankan vibe. Very good and firm bed. Very nice view from room and terrace. The breakfast is great. The accommodation is a few kilometer from the center of Kandy. It’s very quiet. We slept very well.

This is the most beautiful homestay I’ve ever stayed at. The view, the room, the furniture – everything is absolutely stunning. But what truly made this place special was the warmth and kindness of the hosts. Punya takes care of everything with so much thoughtfulness, and Ravi is not only a great cook but also incredibly caring. I got quite sick during my stay, and they not only took me to the doctor but also cooked for me and looked after me with genuine care. I’m deeply grateful and can recommend this place to everyone. It truly felt like home.

We had a wonderful stay at Avons Residence Hanthana! The location was peaceful with beautiful surroundings, offering a perfect escape from the busy city life. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Mr.Sanjaya was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The breakfast was delicious (we had milk rice and string hoppers, breakfast comes with a fruit plate as well), and the overall service exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and memorable stay. Looking forward to visiting again!

Everything was fabulous! Lots of little extras - kettle, coffee, tea, soaps, shower caps, fridge, AC. The owner was great and engaging. Breakfast was good. It was an easy 15min walk to the tooth temple and town. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay. The location is very good close to everything we needed, with easy access to transportation, restaurants, and attractions. We had a lovely stay at Witherspoon Lodge, we were picked up by our hosts from the station and had fun trying to get up that infamous steep hill! (The hill is really not that bad to walk up) The room is set with a beautiful landscape which was lovely to wake up to every morning. Breakfast was lovely and we felt so welcome.
