The hotel was lovely. Our room was stand-alone, with a private terrace and jacuzzi. Everything was very clean, and the reception and restaurant staff friendly and helpful. We frequently walked to the centre which took about 20 minutes.

Very private and safe cabin with stunning volcano views. The cabin is well equipped with everything you would need for meals. The benches outside are so cute and perfect to sit down and watch all the beautiful birds that come by. It was one of our favourite stays of the trip?

Wonderful accomodation with a beautiful garden. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I love breakfast both for the room where it was served and for the quantity of birds and squirrels that we could see. Swomming pool is also very nice.

Great eco lodge. It was fun to see the staff feeding the birds with fruit right when breakfast was served at 7am. The dining room is wide open and you really feel the rain forest. They have a little trail you can go on. Everything was great. Very quiet location.

The location is absolutely perfect, offering breathtaking nature. The breakfast was very good. The highlight of our stay was the jungle view from our bungalow. It was uniquely beautiful, providing a perfect blend of comfort and nature. Overall, it was an outstanding experience, and we highly recommend Arenal Rustic Lodge to anyone looking for a memorable getaway.

Very nice place to stay with very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed for 3 nights and did some excursions around the La Fortuna area - the hotel offers a lot of good tours with different packages for a reasonable price, however we have booked ours online because the only way to pay was by cash which we didn't have. There are few grocery stores about 5 - 15 minutes by walking from the hotel and you can buy everything you need for cooking in all of them. The kitchen was very clean and comfortable to cook in, also with a big fridge with lot of space. The area is very calm and quiet, with many birds and animals around. The walking distance between the hotel and the downtown is about 20 - 30 minutes, but there are some restaurants closer to the place about 10 minutes by walk. We recommend to try the Spectalocar restaurant and Chocolate Fusión café in the downtown. We really enjoyed these two but of course there are many good places to eat in La Fortuna. We really liked our stay and we would definitely come back again.
