We have visited Skansen many times .

Allocate at least 3 hours for a leisurely walk around this open museum and time to read and talk to the staff stationed at certain old houses to better appreciate the history. Bear in mind that Skansen Akvariet requires entrance fee although we have paid our entrance fee to this open-air museum!Guest review byCCMalaysia - 10

A must see if Swedish culture and folk craft interests you. Entirely outdoors, requires walking. There are also wild Nordic animals to be seen within the park (in enclosures). Take the small passenger-only ferry over to the Djurgården Island early in the morning and take a walk through the Skansen park, a real oasis with a combined botanical garden and a zoological garden with all the Swedish animals such as bear, moose, dears, etc. to see, then head over to the "Gröna Lund" theme park right beside Skansen!Guest review byAntonNorth Korea
