Apart from the garden around the fountain at the entrance, the gardens were not maintained as well as they could have been, with more effort being spent on constructing wooden sales shacks than tending the gardens. Very nice park with a domed concert venue in the middle.
Very nice park with a domed concert venue in the middle. Ignore the building and focus on the well manicured gardens with lots of different plants and themes. There are many places to sit and enjoy. The garden has some of the best views of the Douro in Porto. Don't miss the peacocks. You'll also find some other animals wondering around the grounds.Guest review bySamuelPortugal
