Superb location in central Sapporo, very close to many restaurants, shops and sites. The hotel itself oozed style, combined with a warm welcoming vibe. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Including helping me find the destination of my car hire company. Our room was large, clean and impeccably presented. The huge bed was incredibly comfortable. Showering and bathing facilities were first class, in the form of a wet room with a decent sized bath Audiovisual equipment worked well.

Very nice staff. The hotel itself feels new and modern. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection with quality products. Onsen facilities were also very good with 3 baths and sauna. Good laundry facilities. The room itself while it was small had all the needed amenities. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel can be reached completely underground from JR train station. Also the location is much quieter than Susukino for example, but within walking distance of the needed subway stops and other things. There is also 7 eleven in the same building as a hotel and can be reached directly from the lobby.

Great service is often the case with hotels in Japan, but Hotel Sosei was on a whole new level compared to anything we had experienced previously. The staff truly made you feel special, like you were some kind of foreign dignitary to be treated with the utmost respect. The room was spectacular (and we stayed in the cheapest option available) with a massive bed and large amount of space. The bar next to the reception counter was also a highlight, especially when the bartender went out of his way to give us detailed recommendations for local ramen spots.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The rooms are on the larger side for Japan and quite comfortable for 2 people. The public bath is open 24 hours which is very good to use when jetlag won't let you sleep at a normal time. The location of the hotel is very convenient - it is a few blocks from the Sapporo station, which includes the local train and the JR train, and a few department stores and shopping area.

I like the location of this hotel. The airport limo bus stops right next to the hotel making it very convenient. The hotel is linked to the underground mall which leads to Sapporo station and many shopping malls - Daimaru, TOKYU and Stellar Place. It is only a 5mins walk to Odori Park and the Clock tower. The rooms were spacious as compared to other hotels in Japan.

The size of the hotel room is a bit small, but it is just a 5-minute walk from Sapporo Station. There is a small onsen onsite. I think this hotel is a bit pricey given its room size and comfort.

The breakfast consisted of a combination buffet of Japanese and Western breakfast items that was more than adequate. As we had travelled by train, the location was great and very close to Sapporo Station. But the best thing about this hotel, was the staff who did their best to make you welcome and made sure your stay was a great one. In one instance, a staff member worked for over 40 minutes with me to get my boarding passes printed.

Across the street from Sapporo Station! Glass covered building with a glass elevator. Compared to other hotel’s facades that I’ve stayed at in Japan for more than double the price, this hotel was impressive to see on arrival. The lobby is very modern as well. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. You check yourself in at a kiosk. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I asked for an extra pillow, and they got it for me promptly. I can’t believe the quality you get for such a affordable price!

This is a great place to stay in Sapporo. Perfect location if you will be doing day trips/short adventures as it is literally less than a 5 minute walk to Sapporo station. Nice onsen, great breakfast. My room was larger than average for hotels in this price range. The price for this lodging was the best value of all the places that I stayed at in a 3 week trip to Japan. I know where to stay the next time that I am in Sapporo!

Room was very comfortable and bigger than a normal Japanese hotel room in my experience. I didn't end up using it but they have a airport and ski bus that pick up right at the hotel. Sapporo station is a close walk. Communication was very easy with the front desk.

I’ve been staying in another Sotetsu Fresa Inn Hotel chain but this one has the best value. Great location, you come out the door and you can see the Train Station. But you can also walk to many important places in Susukino and Sapporo station area from this hotel. The room is pretty spacious for Japan standard. The staffs are incredible helpful and they can speak english well.

Breakfast buffet was good, had a variety of choices for both western and Japanese. Public bath had 2 pools for soaking. Underground passage connects hotel to Sapporo station and mall which has a lot of eateries. Room was spacious.
